We want to share some important news with our patients.

After more than 30 years of providing NHS dental care in Llanelli, we have made the very difficult decision not to continue under the new NHS dental contract.

This has not been an easy decision.

Over recent years, NHS dentistry has become increasingly under pressure, with growing administrative demands and funding challenges. The new contract places strong emphasis on seeing new patients. While improving access is important, this inevitably reduces the time available to continue caring for the patients who have trusted us for many years.

For us, dentistry has always been about long-term relationships, continuity of care, and being there for our existing patients when they need us. We do not feel the new arrangements allow us to maintain that balance in a sustainable way.

We want to reassure you of three very important things:

• We are not closing

• Your dental care will continue

• Our commitment to high-quality, patient-centred dentistry remains unchanged
