Fillers Llanelli
Here at our dental practice in Llanelli, we can provide lip fillers. We use a very well-known brand called Restylane and the results are usually seen instantly.
Fillers are made from biodegradable hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic acid is a natural skin component. It acts like a sponge and retains large quantities of water to keep the skin plumped and soft. It comes in gel form and is injected into the skin where results are seen straight away.

How long does it last?
Everybody is different but usually, you can expect fillers treatment to last between 9-12 months.
Is it painful?
Some people can find having fillers uncomfortable, however, we can provide you with a topical anaesthetic to place around the injection sites to ease the discomfort.
Sometimes fillers can cause temporary swelling and bruising around the injection site. But you can reduce this by taking anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen and holding cold packs intermittently over the area. Also, keep yourself hydrated and keep your head elevated.
